Overview

The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course offered by C.S Medical Academy is designed for

healthcare professionals, medical students, nursing students, paramedics, emergency responders, caregivers, and

allied health personnel. This comprehensive training program equips learners with the essential knowledge and

practical skills required to recognize and respond effectively to life-threatening emergencies.

Participants will learn evidence-based techniques for performing high-quality Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR),

using Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), managing airway emergencies, and providing immediate care to adults,

children, and infants during critical situations.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Recognize cardiac arrest and respiratory emergencies

  • Perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

  • Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively

  • Apply team-based resuscitation principles

  • Manage choking emergencies

  • Provide basic first aid during medical emergencies

  • Respond appropriately to shock, seizures, stroke, burns, fractures, and poisoning incidents

  • Demonstrate effective emergency response skills until advanced medical care arrives
