Overview

The BSc Nursing Top-Up Programme is designed for qualified nurses and healthcare professionals who wish to progress their academic qualifications and achieve a full Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. This programme provides a structured academic pathway through UK Level 4 and Level 5 studies, equivalent to the first two years of a UK undergraduate degree, carrying a total of 240 credits.

The programme is delivered through a flexible blended learning approach, allowing students to study academic modules online while maintaining professional and personal commitments.

Academic Requirements

• A recognised Nursing qualification equivalent to UK Level 5 Diploma or higher

• Completion of a Diploma / Higher Diploma in Nursing, Nursing Studies, or related healthcare field

• International qualifications will be assessed for UK equivalency (UK ENIC or institutional review)

Professional Requirements

• Must be a qualified or registered nurse in the home country (where applicable)

• Minimum 2 year clinical experience in a healthcare or hospital setting (preferred)

• Employment in a healthcare-related role is an advantage

English Language Requirements

Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency through one of the following:

• IELTS 6.0 overall (no less than 5.5 in each component), or equivalent

• OET (Occupational English Test) at required standard

• Previous education completed in English may be accepted subject to assessment
